How do I figure out what to do with my life? How do I find the meaning of my existence?

Yes, that is a bit philosophical and broad so I can understand some answers that merely suggest a process to find an answer which is fine. I just want some direction on what are reasonable ways to answer these questions that I've had for a while now but I'm not sure who I could ask without seeming dumb or weird.

No one can answer who you are and what you were made to do better than yourself.

Figure out who you are

Look at your horiscope and zodiac signs, what do they say about you (with a grain of salt), are they true? Take personality tests like the Myers-Briggs, it is well worth the effort. Take all of these things into account and figure out what are your weaknesses, strengths, what do you need, love, crave, what do you hate, etc, etc.

And then use it to your advantage

Once you have figured out who you are and how you function, you can use that information to help you manipulate yourself for a better lifestyle - for example, how to motivate yourself, how to keep a better budget, how to stay on track with a diet, how to be better disciplined, etc, etc.

Figure out what you like to do

There is one more crucial work step, you need to figure out what you like to do. A good place to start is (skill or job) aptitude tests. Think about the courses you took and jobs you had, what did you like, what didn't you like, and why. Is there anything where you felt "Oh yeah, I was so MADE to do this!" ?

Figure out what you would like to do with yourself

Now, a disclaimer here, I do not believe that there is exactly one predestination in a person's life. That is, I don't believe that a person must find the exact right job, vehicle, spouse, pet, ... and then live happily ever after with no work/labor involved. No, instead I believe that a person can choose those things, and that there are some choices that are good, some that are bad, but there is no "perfect happily ever after choice".

With that in mind, I think that you should sit down and take a look at your life. Are you satisfied with what you have been doing? Do you feel content and happy with your life? I believe that you have the power to do just about anything that you want to do with your life (well, except maybe rule the Earth). While thinking about what you like to do and are good at doing from the previous, start to formulate a plan to do those things. Do you need to switch jobs? Go to college?

Life is much too short to be terribly miserable. You have the power to change it, and attain your goals.

That would be to read the Bible because it is the living word of God our Creator. Visit a Bible preaching Church - they always have people available to help you find the answers to your questions. Please note that Christianity is the only religion that provides us with a Savior - Jesus Christ. Dumb or weird - never - just a normal person searching for answers. God bless you.
