I have a +5 broadsword of ogre slaying that does 4d4 and a two handed greatsword of ogre banishment that does 5d7 but with a -3 modifier to attack speed. Which weapon would do more damage to an ogre in a one on one battle.

Your best bet is to start a Ranger so you can dual wield.
